Reservation Policy

There is a steady and growing demand for the Venice Beach Eco Cottages. In fairness to all our guests and to our young business, we have drafted the following general reservation policy. As with the intent of our cottages, this policy aims to be fair, that is, sustainable/reasonable, for all parties involved.

Reservations are final once payment of deposit and/or rent has been received for the full period of the desired rental of the cottages.

Unused days of occupancy due to cancellation or early departure cannot be reimbursed. However, if after cancellation we are able to rebook the cancelled space in part or in full with a new customer we will be able to pass on the credit. Any confirmed and paid reservation is subject to a minimum $100 cancellation fee. Given the long-term travel planning horizons of many guests, rebooking the unused space should not be counted on.

The Venice Beach Eco Cottages are furnished rentals rather than hotel rooms. We invest a great deal of time and effort in attracting our visitors given the very special organic, solar powered, no/low VOC and generally sustainable nature of these cottages. Smoking is not allowed in the cottages. Due to the restored and sustainable character of the Venice Beach Eco Cottages as well as their close proximity to each other and other neighbors, The Venice Beach Eco Cottages are not suitable for parties. If smoking and/or parties occur, this will lead to the immediate loss of the deposit. Finally, we ask visitors to be mindful of the neighbors while using their cell phones outside.
